See the things that are happening around you and if you are a grown up probably you thinking of acquiring that plot , a car and many nice things that you can imagine. These things are good and I must admit they make the life comfortable. However what is your motive of acquiring them do you get them as the owner or as a steward ?knowing the difference is what counts.
When we acquire them as the owner the approach we use sometimes might involve means that are illegal or forceful the idea behind this is it is my right.
On the other hand acquiring the riches as a steward means you are guarding them on behalf of somebody actually they are not yours. Reflect on the difference and typically look at the world and what goes on this is a man eat man society. Engage me can you explain why people steal? rampant cases of corruption why on the rise?
Sober view of riches is brought clearly on the Bible book of Job. This was the richest man during his time ironically he also became one of the poorest in his lifetime. Talk of being neglected even the wife said you are better dead you can curse God and die perhaps the wife said this out of frustration of seeing Job suffer. But the guys response perturbs me when report came to him that all his things and children are gone he responded naked I came from my mother womb and naked a will return. What a deep knowledge of knowing that we are stewards and not owners. This perspective made Job latter years more successful than the first.
Now think of me are you steward or owner ? when you die what will you take with you? The question is what is your perspective of riches?
